A company built on Idealism and Hope

STAND’s story stretches from the desert of Rajasthan to the big skies of Norfolk.

Beginning with Tamara’s desire to make Trade Fairer, and evolving to include treading lightly on the Earth.

We are strengthening our fair trade Indian partnerships, alongside the Norfolk collections, that reuse opulent fabrics, for statement pieces.

All our fashion is regenerative, designed to invest in all our artisans – most of whom we know personally – our community and the earth

We know the ‘effortless style’ and the difference choosing it makes, will bring you more joy, than we had creating for you! If that’s possible!

The brand and its sister charity

The Brand was conceived, with fairness at it’s heart – to ‘Make a STAND’ on ethics as well as help the wearer ‘STAND’ out in the crowd

As a child, Tamara couldn’t accept the disparities she saw and without knowing it, took up the baton of Equality – that has led here.

She worked for many years with young people experiencing mental health difficulties, to help them establish a vision of who they could be, through education.

While teaching mental health professionals, she found academic research into recovering from trauma and decided to use the model, in the wider commercial world of fashion, as a way to empower marginalised people everywhere, through creativity.

The charity is built on STAND’s ‘Star’ models of empathy and equality®️

Each Star cluster of 5, is a step towards STAND’S vision of global equality of opportunity.
When someone is offered dignified work and the chance to provide for their family, society is fair and stronger.

All STAND products are tested commercially before becoming part of the charity strategy and involvement in making real products, means the charity feeds seamlessly into the business and builds the expertise and confidence of all members of the company’s diverse community. A virtuous circle, giving those involved, a more solid vision of who they can be.

Our aspiration is to offer accredited training, that is a stepping stone to the secure future, we aim to bring closer, for anyone involved with STAND.
